About Us
Our Story
Holmes Helping Hands, Inc. is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization founded by Cynthia and Willie Holmes, Jr. Built on the belief that every young person —whether a child, youth, or young adult—deserves an equal opportunity to pursue their dreams, we provide the essential tools and support to help them thrive in life.
Originally focused on young adults facing socioeconomic or familial challenges, Holmes Helping Hands has expanded its mission to include youth of all ages. We understand that by fostering a sense of belonging, building confidence, and equipping young people with life skills and effective communication, we can set them on a path to success regardless of their starting point.
Cynthia and Willie Holmes are not only the proud parents of three children and grandparents of three, but they also open their hearts and home to 24 godchildren and countless others in the community. Their passion for nurturing and empowering young people is the foundation of Holmes Helping Hands, Inc. Together, they are dedicated to creating a supportive environment where every young person can grow into a productive member of the community.
